Who am I?

I’m Rosie, founder of Rosie Kingdon Coaching and co-owner of Stones Bakery.

Over the past 18 years, I’ve grown Stones from a market stall to a thriving bakery and café business with two locations and 20+ staff.

 

I know exactly what it takes to make a food business work financially—and now I want to help you do the same.

My ethos

I have been running Stones Bakery for 18 years alongside my partner, and have learnt a lot along the way. Once upon a time I used to imagine that making delicious baked goods with love and care would be enough. The reality is that having an amazing product is only half the battle.

As a business owner there is a huge amount to deal with. From finances, to marketing, managing a team and operations. The food and hospitality industry has some unique challenges and trying to navigate those challenges can feel like a lonely and frustrating road at times.

Most of us didn't get into this because we thought it would be easy money; we wanted to build a business that we are passionate about and does some good in the world. That shouldn't have to mean abandoning work/life balance or working yourself into the ground for very little money.
